Intermittent Fasting

Intermittent Fasting is a fasting method of alternating periods of eating and not eating. Fasting for a certain period of time during the day has many health benefits such as reversing the risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease and many other illnesses. After fasting hours the body exhausts its sugar stores and starts burning fat. This is called “metabolic switching”.

We adopt the 16:8 Intermittent Fasting Method combined with Alkaline Vegan Fasting in NaturMed. The 16:8 Method extends the fasting period to 16 hours and you have 2 alkaline meals during an eight-hour period each day.
